Video of Ayala Cebu Cinema 5 Collapses, 6 hurt

CEBU, Philippines (Update 4) – The ceiling of a cinema at the Ayala Business Park in Cebu City collapsed Monday night, June 15. At least 6 moviegoers were injured inside Ayala Cinema 5, according to Ayala Center Cebu in a statement posted on its Twitter account. "At around 8:50 in the evening today, a part of the ceiling fell during an exclusive movie screening at Cinema 5," the statement said. "We are currently investigating the cause of the incident," it added. Australia-based company Dreamscape was hosting a movie screening that gathered up to 350 people – including foreigners – when the incident happened, according to its COO  Mark Evans. Evans said they saw sparks and then heard a bang before water poured down on them. "I t took 25 minutes until help came from Ayala management.  I was pulling people out of the debris," lamented Evans, who suffered cuts in his hands. 'The Breakup Playlist' Trailer

Piolo Pascual, Sarah Geronimo in "Breakup Playlist" trailer MANILA - Star Cinema and Viva Films released on Monday the first trailer of "The Breakup Playlist," a romance-drama film that marks the first acting team-up of Sarah Geronimo and Piolo Pascual. The two-minute clip sees Geronimo as Trixie, a law student and aspiring singer who falls in love with Gino, portrayed by Piolo Pascual, a musician looking to form a rock band. Their relationship turns sour, however, and Trixie not only leaves the band but also Gino, who appears to have been pushing her away. "The Breakup Playlist" will mark the second major motion picture to be helmed by Dan Villegas, who won best director in the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival for the romance-comedy "English Only, Please." It will hit cinemas nationwide on July 1.
